If you have lived, worked, played or stayed at Dancing Rabbit before for any length of time, you are invited to our 15th Anniversary Land Day Celebration, October 5-7, 2012. Now is the time to RSVP at reunion.dancingrabbit.org and let us know if you will be joining us. Join us as we enjoy potlucks, photos, dance parties, campfires, talent (or no-talent) shows, and much more, including burning the last two of our original mortgages!
Saturday September 8th is Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage's Annual Open House. It's a cross between a super-sized tour and a home-spun eco-expo. There will be tours starting every half hour, loads of friendly Dancing Rabbit members to answer your questions, and refreshments. What's not to like? This is your opportunity to:
- See alternative building methods such as straw bale and cob up close and personal! Ask questions of the builders themselves - we love to talk about our buildings.
- Tour an organic garden and chat with some of our gardeners.

Learn about renewable energy (solar and wind power), and just how seamless it can be.
- Be amazed that 60 people can share 2 cars, a truck, and a tractor and feel good about it!
- Understand more about sustainable and cooperative living.
- Walk through a straw bale building that is powered by sun and wind.
- Drink (filtered) rainwater, and learn about our catchment systems.
- Discover more about what we're working hard to accomplish.

Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended. FREE tours begin every half hour between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. It's probably no surprise that carpools are encouraged. See our website for biking or driving directions. See You Soon!
