Dear friends and supporters,

Wow, what a day. Give STL Day on Tuesday promised to be exciting, and it was, but for different reasons than we’d imagined.

Despite massive technical difficulties on the Give Local America sites, we received over $4,300 in donations to support our work from many generous donors, including a $700 match from one individual!

Due to the technical problems, the “maximizing” times throughout the day were changed. Now a larger amount of bonus money will be split among all donations received from 10am May 3 until noon on Wednesday, May 4. This means our official total will be higher, we just don’t know how much yet— we’ll let you know as soon as we know!

We want to share with you one of our favorite parts of the day: Katherine wandered around the village taking short video of Rabbits talking about why they think Dancing Rabbit is awesome, many with her signature “Whoop!” at the end. We got to hear those “whoops” over and over, as the videos were viewed, edited, exclaimed over, and finally shared on social media. Check them out on Facebook and Instagram!
