Do you struggle with this?

Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage

All ages at the Dancing Rabbit Climate March in 2014.

The climate news just keeps getting worse. In the last few years many of us have shifted from thinking of climate disruption as an event that will happen sometime in the future, to suddenly finding ourselves right in the middle of it. Our forests are burning, our gardens are struggling, and record temps are more than an inconvenience: for thousands, they are actually life threatening.

For many conscious people, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by it all.

We feel it too. Part of what motivated us to create the unique Moved to Act training, happening here at Dancing Rabbit August 12-18, is a desire that we all be seen in our very real pain and confusion, and supported to find the strength to not give up. In many ways, we designed the course we ourselves have been needing as people on the front lines of the climate struggle.

We need:

Better tools for self care, and for authentic and empowered communication about the climate. We need to get real and feel supported so we can move through the tough emotions and respond with creativity.

Understanding of how we got here. Without understanding the political, economic, and cultural underpinnings of this crisis, it's hard to wrap our heads around solutions.

Options to act. There are literally thousands of organizations working to head off the worst ecological damage and human impacts. It's one thing to be moved to act, and quite another to know how!

So please join us this August on a conscious journey, together. We'll work on meeting these very real needs, and we'll do it in the context of Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage. I often call Dancing Rabbit an exporter of hope, because we have pioneered a number of critical sustainability solutions that we live every day. What better place to be nurtured and inspired, and find the clarity to move forward, than one of the most sustainable communities in North America?

Enough feeling down and unsure what to do. Sign up now!

Whether or not this training is of interest to you, we also hope you'll help spread the word to others you think would benefit from it.

Hope to see you in August!

P.S. Don't forget—if you make a donation to our course crowdfunding campaign, you can then nominate someone (could be you!) for a scholarship to attend the training!
