Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage
2015 Permaculture Design Course at Dancing Rabbit

We're excited to be teaming up with Midwest Permaculture again to offer a Permaculture Design Course here at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, Sept 17-25, 2016!

Why are we so excited? Last year's course was such a powerful experience for the participants, we're thrilled to be offering this opportunity again this year.

Here's what one of last year's students shared:

"I felt inspired in each learning session...
The inspiration stayed with me far after the course and fueled changes in how I see the world and my part in it. This course pushed my edge in my own field [of] sustainable design and construction, and provides me with new ways of looking at the world in which I choose to create."
– Jennifer M.

There's never been a better time to take a permaculture course: while increasingly dire messages of fear and despair fill mainstream media, permaculture offers a message of hope. Yes, there are problems, big problems, but there are also solutions.

Permaculture, in it's essence, is a design system for creating sustainable human habitat. It presents ways to look at systems for energy, water, food, shelter (and more), and design them in such a way that everyone's needs are met and ever-increasing abundance results.

The Permaculture Design Course at Dancing Rabbit mixes theory and inspiration with practical, hands-on, how-to activities. Teachers Bill and Becky Wilson of Midwest Permaculture introduce participants to permaculture's comprehensive, yet simple and practical, solutions-oriented framework.

Combine the PDC curriculum with the classroom setting of Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, plus villagers sharing lessons learned in building sustainable community, and you get a course that is sure to be a life-changing experience.

At the end of the nine-day course, participants will:
  • earn a full Permaculture Design Certificate
  • have tools and experiences you can apply to any human habitat anywhere
  • feel invigorated and inspired, knowing you can contribute to the creation of more sustainable systems

There are still a few spaces available in this one-of-a-kind permaculture course! Find out more or register for the course now!
