A Transformative Opportunity

Do you want to transform your yard, balcony, or patio into a sustainable, food-producing garden?

Would you like to stack functions, design beneficial relationships, and value diversity, both in your garden and interpersonally?

Using permaculture principles, you can learn how to work with the world around you in a way that not only sustains, but actively regenerates biodiversity and natural resources.

Long-time Dancing Rabbit member Ted signed up to take the Permaculture Design Course (PDC) happening this September 17-25. He told us why:

"I'm excited to take the PDC at Dancing Rabbit this summer because while I've read Bill Mollison for years, once did a mini-course, and have built my home bio-niche along permaculture principles for 15 years now, I've never managed to get fully immersed in an exploration of the theory and how I might better apply it in this place.

I happened to be away from home during the first [PDC] course last year, and couldn't have been more ready to join in this one, taking place in my home territory. I'm extremely excited to help cement Dancing Rabbit as a place of permaculture learning, given how many people have been seeking it here for so long, and the excellent proving ground offered by our densely-settled village.

The opportunity to learn from those beyond DR, coming for intensive learning with Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage as the physical setting, is priceless. I expect to see my home through new lenses and do some intense community-building with this group. Bring it on!"
