CSCC Welcomes New Leadership!

I am very pleased to announce that the Center for Sustainable and Cooperative Culture at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage has hired Danielle Williams to be our new Executive Director (as you may have read in Katherine's update post this week). I couldn't be more pleased with this choice, and know many people at Dancing Rabbit share this sentiment.

Many of you have crossed paths with Danielle in the past few years as our competent, compassionate and clear Correspondent, often the first contact people have with the community and nonprofit. More recently, she stepped into pioneering the role of our Programs Director, embodying her love for education and supporting people's personal growth.

Danielle brings to the table a combination of professionalism, creativity, and deep love of the planet. She dances with real grace between being a visionary and making sure the small details that make the vision possible are handled well. She also manages a remarkable balance between healthy personal boundaries and a do-what-it-takes approach that is a model for all of us in our activism work.

I've learned a lot from Danielle about life, work, and caring for the planet and others. I'm very much looking forward to watching her spread her wings in the Executive Director role, and to more people having the opportunity to learn from this remarkable woman in the years to come.

Please join me in welcoming and supporting Danielle in this new role!

Ma'ikwe Ludwig,
Outgoing Executive Director
CSCC

P.S. UntilĀ Sept 6, when I officially pass the baton, you can reach both Danielle and I atĀ director@dancingrabbit.org.
