Come THRIVE with us!

When you think of Dancing Rabbit, what do you first think of? If you’re like most of our friends and fans, you probably think of straw bale homes, solar panels, rainwater catchment—the more external parts of a sustainable lifestyle. And for sure, we are all of that!
But as you spend time at our ecovillage, you’ll likely realize that, as we go deeper with our experiment in caring for the Earth, we’re also learning how to care for ourselves—as individuals, as groups of humans, and as a culture. In fact, a grand part of our living experiment is to explore how humans themselves can thrive while in strong relationship with the planet.
And that is why the Center for Sustainable and Cooperative Culture at Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage is delighted to offer “THRIVE: Inner Sustainability for Healers, Leaders, and Lovers of the Earth,” a 3-day workshop happening Oct. 26-29, 2017. Laura Wolf, a friend to many in our community, will be our guide through this amazing journey inward.
Here’s Laura’s story:
When I was 34 years old I was a single mom, working three part-time jobs, never making ends meet and feeling stressed out most of the time. I struggled with depression, overwhelm, and shame more than anyone around me knew. I had a sense that I had some kind of enormous potential inside of me, something that I was meant to contribute to the world, and I knew I was not living it. I felt stuck and I had no clue what to do about it. I most certainly was not thriving.
For me, what was worse than my own unhappiness, was knowing that I was setting a terrible example for my son, Ryland. I didn’t want him to grow up seeing his mom depressed and overwhelmed, stuck and ashamed, and not living up to my full potential.
When Ryland was two years old I began a journey to learn how to love, nurture and care for myself, and find my purpose. I learned about how the process of creation works, where I tended to collapse, get stuck or sabotage myself, and what I could do about it. And I learned how to create from ease and flow so that I could give my gifts and not kill myself doing it.
Today, I love my life as a facilitator of transformation. I have my life structured in lots of ways that nurture me so that I can show up and do what I love—which is to help other healers, leaders, and lovers of the Earth to thrive so that you can do your great work for our beautiful planet.
If you know you could live your purpose even better by creating more thriving in your life, come play with us at Dancing Rabbit in October. We hope to see you there!
And as a special thank you, if you’re one of the next three people to register, you’ll get a $125 discount off of the full price of the workshop!
